Everything was perfect! We arrived later than expected in the evening and the communication about how to get in was spot on. Cabin was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Kim commented several times that "they thought of everything". The lake view was also amazing!! I saw another review that all the good reviews were from friends and family. That is not the case. We met the owners for the first time that weekend. I have nothing negative to say about the stay and will certainly visit again! Thank you Sarah & Tim!!
Customer service at its finest. Me and a buddy stayed here for a long weekend of ice fishing, in January of 2022 and had previously rented a very expensive snowmobile from a sports shop down the road. The woman at the front desk convinced the owner of the sports shop to cancel my reservation, the day of, at no charge, and rented me one of their own snowmobiles for MUCH cheaper. I could tell the owners had a lot on their plate, and were very busy and stressed-out; but wre not phased and they were more than happy to accomodate me with anything I needed and had great attitudes. Staying at the Timbers resort was a time I'll remember forever. I'll be back again for the next reliable ice season!
Resort was an excellent place. Our cabin was really nice. We had truck issues and the owner, Sarah, gave us a ride to a neighboring town to get it to the dealership. She was friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend staying here!
Very clean, wonderfully comfortable and an ideal location make Timbers a perfect place to stay. Sara provides better customer service then most 5 star resorts. They carry live bait for fishing and easy access to snowmobile trails. Thank you!
Spent about 3 months at this location with work. Tim and Sarah are wonderful people everything you could need and want is available at their resort, I will definitely be heading back up in the spring for another stay with them. MCHS crew .
I grew up on this lake, and when we sold the property to take care of my grandparents, I knew I couldn't replace that part in myself. When I do get to come up to the Lake, I have found a home away from home here at the Timbers. Excellent staff and beautiful accommodations for a weekend or even a week away from the hustle and bustle of life :)
The cabins are well equipped, clean and mostly comfortable. The bed was soft, which may or may not be to your individual taste. We enjoyed it. Our only inconvenience was that the bed was not accessible from both sides as 1 side was against the wall. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful. The owners were very friendly and eager to help even with arriving quite late. Thank you Tim and Sarah!
Great place. The owners keep it so clean and welcoming! Cleanest place I've stayed in a while! If your going hunting/fishing/hiking in the area, it is a great place to stay! The boat launch is right down the road abd of course ATV areas all over
